Jack relaxed at the edge of one of Fashod's largest lakes, keeping one eye on his own line and another on his friend, Chalush.

"I do not understand the point of this, Jack."

"First, it's a way to unwind, something you'll learn to appreciate now that you're presiding over an empire."

"And second?" Chalush asked as they both noticed the Fashod Emperor's pole twitch.

"Now!" Jack shouted.

Chalush gave a hard yank. After a full minute of fighting, the beast dangled on the end of his line, defeated.

Jack grinned at the now beaming Chalush. "The second is, it's fun."
